The Practice
Our client is seeking an experienced locum VR General Practitioner to work as the solo doctor at their busy AMS clinic leading an experienced nursing team:
- 3 highly experienced AMS nurses supporting GP & Nurse Manager
- Aboriginal Health Practitioners
- Friendly receptionists
- Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm, no weekends or after hours required
- Highly experienced AMS nursing team
- Main clinic in Broken Hill with two additional outreach sites (Menindee and Ivanhoe)
- Multiple allied health services onsite
Requirements - Unrestricted AHPRA registration (VR)
- Must have experience working in an Aboriginal Medical Service or regional/remote setting
The Location - DPA/MMM7
- Accommodation, car and travel provided
- $1800 per day
- Weekend accommodation in Broken Hill (Friday to Sunday) can be arranged so the GP can explore and enjoy the region
- Currently needed to cover from March to May 2026
- Daily direct flights to Broken Hill from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide airports
- Explore the Outback - the heritage buildings of Wilcannia, hikes and trails in Mutawintji National Park and Paroo-Darling Park, and unique attractions like White Cliff's Underground Motel a short road trip away
