The Practice
We are seeking a General Practitioner to replace an outgoing long-term GP who was fully booked at this recently renovated practice in Western NSW.
  • 3 GP practice
  • Experienced Practice Manager
  • 3 full-time nurses
  • Booked appointment system
  • Recently renovated to include 15 clinical rooms
  • Well-equipped treatment room
  • Excellent on site mentor for non VR GPs
  • VMO option (1:2 - 1:3) with 100% of the fees being retained by the doctor
The Location
Cobar is a small rural mining town of 4600 people with a great community feel, excellent schools and childcare options and sporting and recreation facilities. There are two great primary schools and one high school. There are multiple sports clubs in town for children and adults from Soccer, Cricket, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Swimming, Dance, Tennis, Golf, Netball, Squash and many more.
  • Planned re-establishment of daily, direct flights from Cobar to Sydney
  • DPA / MMM6 location with significant moratorium reduction and retention payments
  • Eligible for RVTS, PFP, PEP/FSP, ACRRM Independent pathway and the new Rural Generalist Training Scheme
  • FIFO option with travel and accommodation paid
