Are you an experienced Rural Generalist looking to maintain a holistic, broad range and varied scope of practice plus earning an attractive income without having to worry about bills?
The PositionWorking and living in the Eastern/Southeastern Wheatbelt and Greater Southern region of Western Australia really ticks all the boxes! As a rural generalist you will be providing general practice/primary health care as well as servicing the emergency care for 2 small rural communities located just 30 mins drive from each other. Despite the remote work you will be part of a great collegial multi-disciplinary team servicing 10 communities in the region ensuring they have a ‘system of care’ that is aligned to community needs.
- 70% mixed billings | Clinical and billing autonomy
- Primarily working in Lake Grace
- Weekly outreach clinics to Newdegate every Thursday
- Kattaning ED roster servicing 4-5 beds | Flexible on-call
- Boost income by $25k with hospital coverage
- Optional ED/VMO cover that suits your scope of practice
- Patient transport out if required via St John / RFDS

The LocationFriendly and warm communities 3 to 4 hrs from Perth. The location provides an authentic taste of the outback from panoramic views of vast salt lakes to glimpses of early settler life and intimate encounters with native flora and fauna. Neighbouring location a self-sufficient farming community hosts one of the State's major agricultural events.
- DPA / MMM6 location eligible for all rural training programs - RVTS accredited for RACGP and ACRRM pathways, PEP Specialist, FSP, RGTS and Independent Pathway candidates welcome too
- PFP Supervision available meaning this is a great spot for PGY4+ Hospital Medical Officers to transition into General Practice or Rural Generalist pathways
- RA4 - Moratorium scaling 40%; reduction of 4 years
