The Practice

This exceptional practice is seeking VR General Practitioner for a minimum 4 days per week with flexible work arrangements.

  • $25,000 sign on bonus
  • RA3/ MMM5-DPA location offering a 30% reduction in your moratorium
  • Sponsored ACRRM Independent Pathway
  • Eligible for Procedural Grants
  • Eligible for GRIP payments, up to $23K in your 5th year
  • 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, Saturday clinic 9am-11am
  • The practice supports the VMO roster at Scottsdale hospital, which is conveniently located next door. The Hospital has 19 acute care beds and 30 aged care beds
  • Boost your income by supporting the VMO roster 1:2
  • $1200 Daily VMO rate
  • Open term flexible contract with optional remote telehealth component
  • Accommodation & Car provided

Just an hour’s drive from Launceston, Scottsdale is a picturesque town located amidst rolling green hills and rich pasture land. Close to local wineries, Scottsdale is the quintessential Tasmanian farming town, located in the island’s verdant North East. With a mild climate, the region’s main industries are pine plantation logging, dairy and potato farming. Scottsdale is home to 2,500 people and, as the main population centre in the region, it has a wide range of shops and services, as well as highly regarded schools.
