DXC Medical welcomes Karen Bowden to the team with the opening of our Melbourne office

I am delighted to introduce Karen Bowden as DXC Medical’s fifth Principal GP Recruitment Consultant. Based in Melbourne, Karen will be responsible for delivering permanent and locum GP recruitment solutions for our clients and candidates in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

Karen brings more than 20 years experience in the healthcare industry. In this time she has worked for both independent country practices and larger multi-site medical centre operators. Her roles have included; GP recruitment, Regional Operations Management, Practice Management, Practice Accreditation and Nursing.

This combination of experience, personal network and Melbourne base will ensure that DXC Medical is able to deliver our ‘personal, proactive and high-quality’ commitment to our clients and candidates throughout regional, rural and metropolitan locations.

Karen has a comprehensive understanding of 19AA and 19AB (DPA) requirements, including all 3GA training pathways. RVTSRACGP PEPACRRM Independent & Specialist Pathway and the new Rural Generalist Training Scheme.

Most importantly, Karen shares our passion for primary care and rural healthcare and is a keen advocate of holistic health, yoga and meditation.
