Are you looking for your next locum opportunity? Our client is seeking Locum GP/VMOs for their rural clinic in Walgett, north-west NSW.
The HospitalWalgett offers a broad rural medical experience, with 24-hour emergency care, acute inpatient services, general medicine, rehabilitation, palliative and aged care, renal dialysis, outpatient and community health services. The health precinct also provides onsite GP services, pathology, X-ray and ultrasound, with access to visiting specialists across a range of disciplines.
- 16 acute care beds
- 8-bed residential aged care unit
- Transitional Aged Care facilities
- Onsite x-ray, pathology and renal facilities
- Aboriginal health and community health services
- Visiting paediatric health practitioners, aged care assessment services and drug and alcohol services
- Respiratory clinic van 3 days/week
- Updated ALS2 cert
- ED experience: Up to 2 years of recent emergency department experience required
