Rural Generalist (GP/VMO/OBS/ANS) – Kangaroo Island (DPA/MMM7)

The Practice
Working in this team of 9 General Practitioners you will provide patient centred care across a range of work locations including the General Practice, Emergency Department, inpatient and residential aged facilities. Doctors require a minimum of general registration with AHPRA and have current obstetric (DRANZCOG), anesthetic (JCCA) and/or emergency medicine (ALS2) skills and certifications

• Dr operated and supported by the Barossa Health Fleurieu Hospital (BHF)
• Earn 65% of billings and 90% billings when on-call
• Urgent need for 2-3 week locum cover ASAP with flexible dates
• Earn $2000+ per rostered day
• On-call support 3 days/week 0800 – 0800 (locum)
• On-call support 1 weekend (48hrs) in every 10 weekends (permanent)
• Full nursing and administrative support
• Private billing (bulk billing for patients under 16 years)
• Relocation assistance available
• 8 weeks annual leave each year for upskilling
• Allied Health available
• Existing patient base

• DPA location eligible for PFP, RACGP FSP Fellowship Support Program, RACGP PEP Specialist Stream, ACRRM independent pathway, ACRRM Specialist Pathway and RVTS Remote Vocational Training Scheme
• MMM7 location and eligible for maximum moratorium reductions
