Job Description Are you a VR General Practitioner, Non-VR GP or International GP looking for an exciting new opportunity in New South Wales? Would you like to join a brand-new bulk billing medical centre in Newcastle, the Lower Hunter, Lake Macquarie or Central Coast? DXC Medical Recruitment is seeking expressions of interest from General Practitioners for six new fully bulk billing GP clinics expected to open across the Hunter and Central Coast regions in mid-2027.
The Opportunity Backed by a $25.3 million Australian Government investment, this exciting initiative aims to attract approximately 60 additional GPs to the region and deliver 155,000 additional bulk billed consultations annually.
With growing communities and strong demand for accessible healthcare, these new clinics will offer GPs the opportunity to join a practice from the beginning, establish a patient base and build long-term relationships within the local community.
Expressions of interest are welcomed from VR GPs and GP registrars approaching Fellowship, as well as International GPs eligible for the Expedited Specialist Pathway (ESP) or assessed as Substantially Comparable through the RACGP PEP Specialist Stream. Non-VR GPs holding General Registration and eligible for the Pre-Fellowship Program (PFP) are also encouraged to register their interest.
